• About Us

  • We’ll do everything we can to make your child feel at home and comfortable, whether that means turning their dental visit into a science lesson or letting them watch their favorite show and snuggle up with a blanket.

  • Caroline Young, DMD

In 2015, I founded Hingham Pediatric Dentistry, meeting my objective of caring for children in our community with advanced, personalized and gentle dental care.

In 2007, I graduated from Tufts University, receiving my Doctorate in Dental Medicine summa cum laude. I am a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a Dental Honor Society, and former President of the American Academy of Women Dentists.

Following Tufts, I completed Pediatric Dentistry Residency and specialty training at Boston University. Today, I hold a faculty appointment as Clinical Professor at Boston University, also my undergraduate alma mater.

I am Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Academically, I frequently participate in continuing education furthering my academic interest in advanced technologies, nutrition and preventative dentistry.

My philosophy is to use minimally invasive dental treatment to avoid dental disease. I enjoy educating families on preventative strategies to keep kids’ teeth healthy.

Hingham Pediatric Dentistry sponsors local sports teams, school charities and road races, maintaining an active role in our community. I live in Hingham with my husband, a local architect, and three children.

I look forward to meeting with you and caring for your children!

  • Jeremy Zuniga, DDS, MS

Dr. Jeremy Zuniga is a Board Certified Orthodontist who deeply understands how beneficial it is to have a trusted pediatric dental partner in orthodontic care. He was first introduced to the profession as an adolescent growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area. It was because of what orthodontic treatment did for both his self-esteem and self-confidence that he decided to follow in the footsteps of his orthodontist. Dr. Zuniga is fulfilling his lifelong dream through his work at Marshfield Orthodontics.

Dr. Zuniga moved to the Boston area while still in high school to pursue an unlikely ambition for a California kid: ice hockey. He loved Boston so much that he decided to stay for college and completed his pre-dental studies at Tufts University. He then attended Columbia University in New York, where he received both his dental and orthodontic training. Dr. Zuniga earned his DDS from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2010, where he was president of his class. Afterward, he completed a three-year orthodontic residency through which he earned his master’s degree in orthodontics.

While at Columbia, Dr. Zuniga won a national research award at the American Dental Association’s Annual Meeting, the New York Academy of Dentistry Exemplary Professional Conduct Award, and the OMS Foundation Daniel M. Laskin Award for the best published paper. He is also very proud to have achieved his board certification through the American Board of Orthodontics, which demonstrates the highest level of achievement in orthodontic training and excellence in patient care.

In 2013, Dr. Zuniga has been a part of the South Shore community since 2014 at Marshfield Orthodontics and will expand his services to join the team at Hingham Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Zuniga is a member of the Professional Advocacy Council of Orthodontics and the American Association of Orthodontics. He and his wife, Lucinda, have two children. In his spare time Dr. Zuniga enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing ice hockey, and beach days.
